Rosary beads can be traced back almost a millenium. But what are they, and what do they mean?
The catholics use them as prayer beads, which slip through the fingers as prayers are said, to help focus and structure long devotions.
The catholic rosary has a specific form, of five decades with starting beads, and a larger bead to separate the decades. At the end of the rosary is a simple cross. Each decade of ten beads represents one event, the five decade events comprise mysteries. Each bead represents a prayer said in meditation on the event. There are several groups of mysteries representing the life, death and resurrection of Christ, the complete rosary said for each one. It is a way of condensing and connecting the core events of biblical tradition into a single devotion.
To a believer they are a memory of the mother of Christ, and also a thing of beauty. The name rosary means a garland of roses, a scent associated with marian apparitions.

While you are cleansing your chakras, you will release any negative energy while replacing it with positive energy. Understanding the Human Chakra System

Chakrology is a term introduced by practitioners of alternative medicine and New Age philosophers to describe the study of the chakra system, the human bodys energy processing centers identified almost four thousand years ago by the Ancient Hindus.
According to the Ancient Hindus, there are thousands of chakra points that make up the human bodys chakra system but of these, there are seven chakra points that are considered of major importance. This major chakra system which consists of the seven major points is our bodys main energy processing centers. As it is, they are our active connection to our consciousness and spiritual essence.
The active functions of the major chakras contribute individually to the totality of the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual aspects of our life. Each one of our seven energy centers with their own specific character is compatible to a unique feature of our being. They work in a continuous relationship with one another towards achieving balance in the human body and are not vying for ascendancy over another of the other chakra points.
It is quite remarkable that despite the existence of numerous models of depicting the chakra system, there is one common denominator among all the models used. And that is the energy points correspond to a particular endocrine gland of the human anatomy!

According to the ancient Vedic thought, there are seven circles (Chakras) of energy referred to as energy wheels in the human body. These are present along the meridian of the body.
It is generally accepted that there are seven of these chakra energy-wheels, although some practitioners maintain that there are in fact 14.
These begin at the lowest base of the body (thought of as either the base of the spine or the genitals) and extending in their order to a person’s crown (tippy top of the head).
In between are the orange colored chakra situated in the stomach area, the yellow colored chakra known as the solar plexus just above this, the green colored chakra in the heart region, the blue colored throat chakra, the indigo colored chakra in the center of the forehead known as the third eye. The root chakra is colored red with the crown chakra thought of as being violet in color.
In addition to being associated with colors (wavelengths of light), the chakras are numbered in order one through seven, with the base chakra being number one.
The first chakra controls our physical health and vitality and our sexual health.
